Some businesses are built on ad budgets. Ours was built on front doors that keep opening—decade after decade—because people invite us back.
For more than forty years, Glenfield Kitchens has been the quiet constant behind family meals, new chapters, and “come and see the kitchen” moments shared with loved ones.

It’s not unusual for us to return to a house and remove the original kitchen we have supplied!

In fact, Mrs Johnson has done just that.

And had us back to update her kitchen again. And then to install new appliances for her. Oh, and to redesign her bathroom too. In over 40 years in business there have been many customers like Mrs. Johnson: Customers we help with choosing kitchens that match their good taste.
And they come back to us again and again when we supply and deliver with a quality service that meets their personal style.

What we kept
and what we're improving
We kept the heart: a long-standing team trusted to do the right thing in customers’ homes. Many of our fitters have been with Glenfield Kitchens for decades; the longest-serving started as a teenager and is still with us—proof that workmanship and relationships outlast fashions.
We’re improving the journey: Choose from a wider range of premium kitchen designs and styles, coupled with design you can see before you say yes—with 3D planning on a big screen. Your buying experience is now even smoother when it comes to choosing your dream design.

Showrooms are nice
Installers are everything
Ours greet you by name, dust-sheet the floors, take their shoes off, and get cracking. Day one often looks like magic—old kitchen out, room prepped, first fix underway—then the craft takes over: the alignment, the unseen adjustments, the little extras that make a space feel “meant” for your home.
That’s where attention to detail lives.
Customers tell us they feel looked after: we coordinate the trades, remove rubbish, and keep you calm when the house is busy (If we’re not panicking, you don’t need to!). And we work the way we live—tidy, respectful, steady.

I start jobs with a smile, a chat, and a white coffee — Hobnobs if I’m lucky. Customers say I’m a credit to the team: tidy, detail-focused and always happy to answer questions.
I enjoy a good peninsula build, support Liverpool, walk the dog with my partner, and still brag about placing 3rd in a strongman comp.
A thank-you card, chocolates and beer from an elderly customer once made my week — and if I’m not on-site, you’ll likely catch me at Meg-a-cake.

I like to leave jobs spotless — windows, driveways, everything.
A customer once cried with joy at her finished kitchen, which says it all. Bathrooms feel great when units and tops slot in, and kitchens shine when the quartz and flooring go down. I tell customers they’re in safe hands —
we don’t miss the details.
Weekends are for Leicester matches with family, and I’m proud of my Fijian roots passed down from my grandad.

I keep the space tidy as I work and leave every room clean at the end of the day. I’m a perfectionist who enjoys mitred tiles, neat risers, infills and bespoke shelves done properly.
I protect items before rip-out, keep dust down and make sure customers are happy throughout. Coffee with two sugars keeps me going, along with my tape measure and pencil.
Outside of fitting you’ll usually find me with the kids at soft play, or at a park.

I’m a clean, tidy and respectful fitter who keeps your home spotless and your appliances protected.
I handle all the finishing touches — doors, edging and the small jobs that make a difference. No tea, coffee or biscuits, just a Selco café breakfast.
And yes — I got the job because I’ve got a dog.
